IBC Hotels (InnDependent Boutique Collection) is a hospitality technology platform and soft brand network designed exclusively for independent hotels. It combines a proprietary central reservation system (CRS), managed distribution services, and soft brand benefits to help independently owned properties compete with large hotel chains.
IBC targets the worldwide independent hotel segment — estimated at over 300,000 properties — including boutique hotels, villas, and B&Bs. Properties connect via the IBC Marketplace, a technology ecosystem that aggregates channel management, distribution partnerships, and booking tools. The platform is integrated with channel management partners such as STAAH, enabling real-time rate and availability updates across OTAs and other distribution channels.
IBC's core value proposition is allowing independent hotels to reclaim revenue and guest data from third-party OTAs while retaining full operational independence. Unlike a traditional franchise or soft brand, IBC does not require hotels to give up autonomy. The Marketplace model gives smaller properties access to enterprise-grade technology and distribution reach at a scale that would otherwise be inaccessible.
